This session focuses on helping international students understand differences between the academic cultures of their home countries or institutions and those in the UK. This can cover topics such as: academic approaches to citations in essays, classroom behaviour expectations, effectively communicating with your lecturers and tutors, where to go for different kinds of help (academic, administrative, personal, etc) within the university, and more. The group session allows up to 5 students to attend a session together.
